This project consists of the renovation of existing radio station studios, offices, and technical support spaces, along with a new expansion to accommodate the integration of three additional stations into ClearChannel Communications' Pittsburgh operations. A goal of the planning and design process was to create new spaces that maximize flexibility, encourage staff interaction, achieve technical efficiency, and increase operational effectiveness. In addition, spaces that may have multiple uses or are subject to future modification (such as On-Air and Production Studios) are interchangeable to allow for future program expansion, and/or changes in operational requirements. All studios are generically constructed and equipped, with unique finishes and treatments provided to enhance each station's identity. Loosely programmed meeting and lounge spaces with comfortable seating are included to support a range of activities including training, conferences, and casual meeting/brainstorming sessions.
