The Walton Condominiums is a new housing development of "loft" type residential units featuring large open areas with high ceilings, maximizing exposure to daylight and views. Each unit has minimum of one full-story glass wall for its main living space and has a direct connection to a large exterior porch or deck. The floor plans for the units are designed for flexibility and have the capability to be arranged in multiple configurations, with the potential for up to four bedrooms in the larger units.

The building is constructed of continuous masonry bearing walls for the first three stories, with light-gage steel-framed penthouses above that are clad in glass and metal panels. Exterior stairs and "stoops" connect second floor units directly to the sidewalk, consistent with the context of the residential neighborhood. Ventilation for the enclosed parking area is achieved through vents created by omitting alternate brick headers to form openings in the wall, thus maintaining a consistent brick façade base that screens the parking garage from view and eliminates the need for mechanical ventilation.
